La Asociación de Medio Ambiente Puntatlantis junto con la Asociación para la Defensa del Camaleón (ADECA), celebran el sábado 25 de Junio, la Jornada de Acción Litoral: La Mar de Jóvenes, en la Playa Central de Isla Cristina. Que este año se centra en la celebración del Día Mundial de los Océanos (8 de J unio) y se engloba dentro de la celebración del Año Internacional de los Bosques.
El objetivo de la Jornada de Acción Litoral: La Mar de Vida, es dar a conocer la importancia del papel de los jóvenes, como el colectivo de la sociedad más informado y motivado, en cuanto a la conservación del medio ambiente y su protección, y dar a conocer la importancia de los bosques litorales, haciendo participes a todas las personas de la conservación y protección de los ecosistemas litorales.
La Jornada, se celebrará, en la Playa Central de Isla Cristina, el sábado, 25 de Junio, y comenzará a las 11:00 con una recogida participativa de basuras, para continuar al medio día con un taller de plantas aromáticas y terminar con el simulacro de varamiento de un delfín a partir de las 13:00 de la tarde. La Acción cuenta, este año, con la colaboración de la Asociación Mundo Solidario, la Red Onubense del Voluntariado, el Ayuntamiento de Isla Cristina y las Salinas Biomaris.
La Jornada de Acción Litoral es una de las actividades centrales de la Red de Voluntarios Ambientales del Litoral Andaluz, y se celebra desde el año 1998, desarrollándose conjuntamente por todo el litoral andaluz, por parte de las entidades que forman parte de la Red, y generalmente son actividades prácticas de conservación y recuperación de entornos costeros y sensibilización y educación ambiental sobre su problemática.
